The Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) is completing a review of the Accreditation Standards for Pharmacist Prescribers Education Programs.
The revised standards will reflect contemporary practice and healthcare delivery and relevant emerging practice and technologies. The standards will be designed to be sustainable and adaptable and will be regularly reviewed as healthcare is evolving rapidly.
The revised standards will replace the 2023 accreditation standards for Pharmacist Prescriber Education Programs.
The APC has established a Governance Group to guide the review of the accreditation standards.
A project Governance Group has been established to oversee the revision of the standard and will ensure that the process exhibits transparency, consistency, responsiveness, equity, inclusiveness, accountability and effectiveness.
