Shape the future of pharmacy education by being a part of an Accreditation Assessment Team!
We invite pharmacy academics and practising pharmacists to join our register to contribute to our accreditation activities.
You'll help us ensure that the pharmacy programs being delivered meet Australian standards and produce graduates who can deliver effective health care and protect the public’s safety.
Benefits include:
Help our accreditation team assess pharmacy degree programs and intern training programs against our accreditation standards.
Accreditation Assessment Teams complete site visits of pharmacy programs and undertake other accreditation assessment activities.
See our Accreditation Assessment Team information for details on:
"I felt it was a great opportunity to participate in the accreditation process and I felt privileged to be part of the team in such an important role. Thank you again." - 2023 AAT Practising Pharmacist member
Applications are currently closed. We will communicate future opportunities via our newsletter.
All successful candidates will be included on the register for a period of 3 years. At the end of the 3 years, we will contact you about the process for reapplying.
You will not automatically join an Accreditation Assessment Team. As the number of program assessments we conduct each year varies, not all individuals on the Assessor Register will be invited to join a team each year.
We identify programs/providers that are due to undertake accreditation a year in advance. Once we do this, we contact all individuals on the Assessor Register to check their availability for specific dates.
We then appoint teams in accordance with our Accreditation Assessment Team Selection Criteria.
We also request a declaration of any potential conflicts of interest.
