Bronwyn Clark leads the Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) as our Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The CEO works with our Board to advance our strategic priorities.

Bronwyn Clark is the APC's Chief Executive Officer. Bronwyn initially trained as a pharmacist in New Zealand and has worked internationally in hospital and community pharmacy, primary care, education and regulation
Bronwyn is interested in developing and expanding the way that pharmacists practise. She is also involved in research into interprofessional education and how professions work together. She has been recognised as a Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand, Pharmaceutical Society of Australia and the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain.

In her spare time Bronwyn is a keen choral singer and enjoys reading and dog-walking with her husband Allan in the beautiful Canberra bushland.

Brett is APC's Chief Operating Officer and Company Secretary. He brings more than 30 years’ experience in senior and executive management, corporate and consulting roles across public, NFP and private sectors. This includes extensive experience within all these sectors in healthcare administration, program delivery and policy.
Brett firmly believes in enabling business capability and transformation through a planned strategic approach, which ensures that innovation and productivity uplift is faster, cheaper, and more effective. Brett has completed an Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School, is a former Big4 Senior Partner, Business Owner, CFO and Corporate Advisor and brings this broad perspective and experience.
Brett has been the Chair of Woden Community Service (WCS) since 2022. He was previously the Treasurer and has been a Non-Executive Board Member since 2016.
When not at work, Brett enjoys 'quiet time' on his rural property outside Canberra.

Kate has completed Lead Auditor Training with SAI Global and the Executive Leadership Program for Regulators through the Council on Licensure, Enforcement and Regulation (CLEAR).
Kate joined APC in 2016 and is passionate about quality education and life-long learning to maintain a strong pharmacy workforce.

Rodney is the Director of Digital Transformation and Information Technology (IT) Services. His role is to lead and oversee APC's IT service delivery, digital enablement and transformation to ensure efficient, robust and secure technology investment.
Rodney is an experienced Business Technologist, Entrepreneur and IT Executive with over 25 years of professional services and commercial management experience. He has operated his own IT consulting firm and worked for some of the largest Australian and International technology and management consulting companies across the private, health and government sectors.

Claire is a registered pharmacist with diverse experience working in the hospital pharmacy, community pharmacy & health care sectors.
Claire has a background in clinical education, standards development, accreditation, policy and regulation, clinical governance, quality improvement and project management.
She has previously worked for APC as Director Accreditation from 2015-2017 before taking on opportunities which include:
Claire has returned to APC in 2022 to lead our work in reviewing and developing accreditation standards for existing and emerging pharmacy education programs.
Claire continues to work regularly in pharmacy in the ACT to maintain her connection with her community.

Andreia is a pharmacist by profession, a distinguished workforce specialist with 17 years of experience leading diverse, global teams comprising individuals from more than 50 nationalities. Andreia has extensive experience in developing national and global policies, strategies, and frameworks for healthcare organisations, including the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), World Health Organisation (WHO) and UNESCO. She is a published author with over 60 articles and a speaker with 100+ technical talks in 50 cities.
Leading the Research, Policy and Partnerships Team, Andreia manages a team committed to advancing pharmacy education through innovative research, shaping impactful policies, and fostering strategic partnerships to drive excellence and workforce development.

Having attained tertiary qualifications in social work, Joe has expanded his knowledge through positions in law enforcement, social work, and business management positions within a diverse range of sectors.
Joe has had extensive experience working with vulnerable and economically disadvantaged populations. While working with the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Far Northern Queensland he led multidisciplinary teams comprised of Social Workers, Psychologists and Occupational Therapists based in remote locations throughout Cape York.
In CEO and Executive leadership roles, Joe has overseen complex governance and accreditation procedures across multiple organisations, and has assessed against diverse Quality and Safety standards, including:

Lynn is the Director of Assessment, overseeing APC’s suite of assessments. She leads a team dedicated to providing valid, reliable, and fair assessments, ensuring competence and readiness in the dynamic pharmacy profession.
Lynn is a registered pharmacist with extensive experience across diverse pharmacy sectors, including community, hospital, government, and academia. In her previous role as a teaching and research academic in the Faculty of Health at the University of Canberra, she served as the Bachelor of Pharmacy Course Convener.
Lynn implemented innovative teaching strategies and assessment methods to inspire the next generation of pharmacists, enhancing the learning experience and fostering positive student relationships. She has established various collaborative initiatives with professional organisations, including an evidence-based mentorship program to support early-career pharmacists.
Lynn is actively engaged in pharmacy practice research and contributes to the profession as a General Council Member of the Australasian Pharmaceutical Science Association and a Leadership Group Member of the PSA Respiratory Pharmacy Task Force.
Lynn is committed to advancing the profession and maintaining a strong pharmacy workforce to improve patient outcomes.

With over 30 years' experience as a people-focused Chartered Accountant, moving into a role prioritising People and Culture was a natural progression for Linda Thompson. Linda has worked in a variety of business environments, gathering skills unique to each environment. Experience includes:
Linda has a strong focus on quality service delivery to internal and external stakeholders, statutory compliance and due process. Over the past 35 years Linda has volunteered her time as a technical official, judge, coach, Treasurer and committee member to various sporting associations in the region.

Angela is the Director of Communications and Change. As part of the APC Leadership team, oversees organisational communications, events, project and change management.

Angela has operated her own consulting and advisory company, providing strategic advice and delivery to a broad range of higher education organisations. Her business has focussed on providing high level advice across broad range of transformation projects ranging from business process improvement, organisational change management, international market development and student recruitment and admissions.
