This policy promotes a culture of respect, accountability and service excellence, ensuring that the Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) fulfils its mission while maintaining the trust of stakeholders, clients and the broader community. All individuals associated with APC are expected to act in good faith, demonstrate fairness, and comply with all relevant laws, policies and standards.

Our commitment

The APC is committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, professionalism and ethical behaviour. The APC Code of Conduct outlines the principles and expectations that guide the actions of our Board Directors, Committee/Panel Members and Staff in all their professional interactions and decision-making.

The Code of Conduct supports a safe, inclusive and values-driven work environment by:

  • promoting ethical and lawful behaviour
  • preventing conflicts of interest
  • protecting confidential information
  • supporting diligence, transparency and responsible use of resources
  • encouraging reporting of misconduct without fear of retaliation.

APC is committed to continuous improvement and accountability. Breaches of this policy are taken seriously and may result in disciplinary action.

By upholding this Code, APC reinforces its dedication to ethical leadership, public trust and the ongoing advancement of pharmacy education and practice.
